Countertop Caddy
Countertop Caddy
Cleaning up my Bathroom Counter
A 3D printed tray with compartments for all of your daily bathroom essentials. Keeps the counter clean and all of your hygiene needs in one place.
A Complete Mess
With everyday being eat, sleep, work, repeat, my bathroom counter had everything I needed on it but nothing in place. I needed a way to keep my toothbrush off the counter while also keeping it looking clean and organized.
Design Iterations
Initially, I designed the Countertop Caddy to be one long piece with multiple compartments for each item.
While everything fit in their slots fairly well, I found that the length of the Caddy itself was not as ideal as initially thought.

Final Design Takeaways
The final Countertop Caddy design was adjusted such that the toothpaste tray would sit against the rest of the compartments. Not only did this shorten the length, it also made the project easier to assemble.
For this project I researched optimal adhesive solutions for 3D printed parts and discovered the great utility and strength of IPS Weld-On 16. Additionally, I was able to practice my CAD drafting abilities and general metrology.
In the future I’ll look to improve the following:
Utilize epoxy resin to increase water resistance and longevity.
Include more components for other bathroom accessories.
Allow for parts that can detach and secure items for travel applications.
